{ try it tuesday: tissue paper pom-poms }

I was so thrilled to find this DIY tissue paper pom-pom tutorial via lillyella

pompoms

I want to make some and scatter them in the trees in our backyard for the little outdoor brunch we'll be hosting in a couple of weeks. I think they'll be a perfect compliment to the flower centerpieces. Now all I need is another 12 hours in the day.*

Full "how-to instructions here.

*This is  my back-up plan.

Crazy! I just made flower pom poms like these for Jonathan's graduation party on the 16th. But, mine are in various colors though to go with my Mexican theme. I'm planning to fill a vase with lemons and limes, then top the vase with the paper flower.
