Over the last couple of days, I've been drooling over the photos from this home tour, which was recently featured in the SCAD tour of homes. It is the Savannah, GA home of Liz Demos from @home vintage general...she has such great style! {remember...Katie featured her shop here}. 

Now, my poor little head is swirling with a barrage of new ideas and fabulous try-it-myself projects. 

It's official: My armoire will be getting a paint makeover.

Sorry dining room table and chairs, but after seeing this, I think you're in for a re-do too.

Is that the cutest backyard you've ever seen? Look at the little greenhouse.

Some of you long time S.HOPtalk readers might recall one of my original posts which featured the inspiring { and extremely organized } work space of Benita Larsson. 

I've continued to stay connected with Benita when she pops over here and via flickr, where she frequently treats her fans to peeks inside her constantly evolving home and her fabulous sense of style. Benita  is continually editing and updating her spaces to keep things fresh...swapping out colors, fabrics and accents with a change of the seasons–so inspiring!

The exciting news is that Benita has taken her keen eye for great design details to create some original designs, which are now available in her recently launched etsy shop, The Chez Larsson Shop. 

  

Her kitty gocco printed cards are so charming–available by color or in mixed sets.

Pillow covers, designed by Benita, are also available in the shop. 

Kitty lovers will recognize the intriguing expression on this little guy. You know the one...when your whiskered friend is up to something and you catch them, but they don't want to admit it.

Hmmm...I wonder who inspires some of Benita's designs???

I so admire artists and designers who put themselves out there and pursue their dreams. Way to go for it Benita...I wish you much success with this new endeavor and look forward to seeing what else you have in store for us.

Welcome to the fabulous home of Lyn Gardener, the designer and creative talent behind the wildly successful shop, Empire Vintage, based in Melbourne Australia. Originally an old mattress factory, Lyn gutted, renovated and decorated the two story warehouse space to create her home–a light and airy haven, which beautifully showcases her lifelong passion for vintage collections and fresh design aesthetic. 

I admire people like Lyn who have the foresight and vision for such an undertaking...and follow through on it.

I love her knack for making everything old, new again, through her exquisite mix of dreamy whites, subtle pops of colors, and pleasing textures.

Those of us who aren't able to take a personal jaunt into the wonderful world Lyn has created at Empire Village can find plenty of inspiration from her lovely site which features both her store and her private residence.
