{ monday morning blues }

DSCF0480

We spent a positively perfect Sunday, blueberry picking and picnicking with friends.
Even sweeter? Serving our fresh picks from this sweet vintage find...
the latest addition to my pyrex collection (thanks, mom!)

Even the skies were blue when I awoke this morning...don't you love  it when your day starts like that? What did you do this weekend? Our days were a mix of planned events and chill time. We also added a new member to the family--a winter white hamster. I wouldn't have believed that a 1 x 2" ball of fur could elicit so much joy, but little one is seriously over the moon about this little critter...her smiles and hugs of appreciation have me over the moon. I hope the start of your week is every bit as blissful.

{ monday morning blues }

Good Morning. I hope you all had a lovely weekend
filled with sunshine and fun.

I recently discovered the gorgeous photography of Deborah Whitlaw Llewellyn on the pages of Coastal Living and just knew I had to feature her in this week's Monday Morning Blues. I am especially fond of these beautiful vignettes...mostly whites and neutrals with a dollop of blue.

Browse more of Deborah's photos here.

We are trying to plan a summer coastal getaway of our own...perhaps down to San Diego or to Catalina Island. How about you...do you have any favorite coastal escapes? Do tell.

So thrilled to have you back again. Happy Monday everyone!
