{ art i heart: mixed media artist laura amiss }

Have you discovered mixed media artist, Laura Amiss?

I am in love with these textile canvases found in her etsy shop.

Wouldn't one {or two} be cute in my home office?

{ art i heart: lovebird plates by nina in vorm }

So cute for Valentine's Day or to create a fabulous plate wall.

Designed by the oh-so-talented Nina in Vorm

{ art i heart: "missed connections" by sophie blackall }

I'm loving these illustrations by artist Sophie Blackall.

Each is inspired by a real life missed connection gleaned from posts on sites such as Craigslist. For the full story behind each work of art, be sure to stop by the delightful Missed Connections blog--scrumptious weekend reading.

P.S. Thank you to all of the readers (both new + old) who stopped by this week...I truly appreciate you taking the time to visit and share your lovely comments. For those of you new to S.HOPtalk, I look forward to getting to know you better! Have a wonderful weekend lovelies!

{ art i heart: kiki & polly

I spent countless hours playing on the monkey bars when I was in grade school. Perhaps that's why I adore these art prints by Kiki & Polly so much. (That and the fact that "Where I Go to Think" reminds me of my favorite small person).
