{ comfort & joy }

I'll take several of each please...

cuddle

Have you ever
stumbled upon a shop and wanted absolutely everything in it? Such is the case with Chewing the Cud. The Cuddle with Cider sachets, Letterpress Holiday telegrams, and Sweet & Spicy holiday cards are but a few of my favorites. If you happen to fancy letterpress goods like I do, there's so much more for you to discover about this delightful San Francisco based shop here and here. Enjoy!

{ and warm woolen mittens... }

il_430xN.45851591

Stay cozy and stylish with these wool scarves and "armies",  which are handmade in Melborne, Australia* using upcycled felted sweaters. Vintage adornments such as bakelite buckles and buttons add to their simple perfection. {Oh, and the best part...two more gifts checked off the list!}

{ mi amore... }

I've been swept off my feet by the gorgeous graphic design studio and shop, Carta Inc.

Italian cotton ribbons, red & white twine, and letterpressed goods...*sigh*...what's not to amore? I especially like this accordion fold letterpress book of Italian recipes, which will be just perfect for a special someone on my Christmas list.

{mom's day inspiration: sweet tweets }

Lilymoon
Journal of an Aviary Keeper print (a) and moleskin journal

The bird song outside my window this morning inspired these feathered finds for Mother's Day–each pick makes a lovely little gift on its own or can be combined to create a memorable basket for your favorite mama bird.

I have fallen head over heels in love with each little storied piece discovered in
Betsy Carr's inspired jewelry line, Foundling. Each trinket in the Foundling collection is handmade using vintage, found, or recycled materials–creating a one-of-a-kind treasure for its lucky recipient.

Foundling: Jewelry with a past

I'm particularly fond of the pieces pictured, but found plenty more lovelies for you to browse in Foundling's etsy shop

With Mother's Day and college graduations fast approaching, I was pleased to find the prices in Betsy's shop to be quite reasonable and I adore her exquisite gift wrap that comes with each little pretty. Be sure to follow Betsy's treasure hunting adventures and keep track of new additions to her collection by visiting her blog. {S.HOPtalk's featured blog of the week}.
