Scrumptious new diary covers
The lovely and creative Marta recently contacted to let me know that she's currently creating another batch of her divine mini diaries to arrive in time for the holidays and is taking pre-orders through her shop. I was thrilled...after procrastinating and missing out on her last production run, I've been visiting her shop daily hoping to find more in stock.
Its tiny, fill-in-the blank style makes it easy to pop it into a handbag and jot brief, {happy} thoughts from the day while on the go. I plan to buy one that my daughter and I can share and record both of our thoughts at the end of the day--a new bedtime ritual and the chance to celebrate and share the little things that make both of us happy.
The really good news is that S.HOPtalk readers have the chance to WIN their very own mini diary. I love decorating with starfish for Christmas, I love popping them into a vignette, it brings to mind the Bethlehem night to me.
I am loving: the smell of my Christmas tree, the sound of Casting Crowns Christmas CD, the taste of Peppermint hot chocolate, the sight of flickering candles, the feel of cold air.
I am loving the fact that I broke out my cream cashmere mittens this morning. The first really good, cold morning in Alabama.
I am LOVING that my 2 year old daughter is learning to sing Christmas songs...there's just nothing sweeter!

I'm loving settling into my new home in Siem Reap. Last night I took a tuk-tuk to the foreign correspondents club, met new friends, shared sangria, chatted and laughed. I love being welcomed to this wonderful vibrant city!
I'm absolutely engrossed in my current book, The Glass Castle! So much in fact, that I must pull myself away from blogging so I can finish it tonight!
Well it is Christmas so I'm currently loving all the red, silver and gold glitter. Seems like everything just looks fancier and better this time of year decked out in holiday glitter!!!
Loving the end of the term and the fact that I can be free of grading papers for the Christmas week - to just spend time with family!
loving hot beverages in our new apartment. my husband graduated in may, but with the economy, finding a job was slow. thankfully, he finally got a job and we moved to boston in the middle of november. the cold new england weather makes me appreciate steeping tea and making hot chocolate in the biggest kitchen we've ever had.
I'm loving that my new boyfriend came with a group of witty, funny friends that have adopted me as one of their own. Grad school is feeling less lonely now!

i am loving the steady stream of visitors, both day and overnight, that have been coming around lately. our house feels really warm with all these voices.

Right now I'm loving the taste of a hot chai tea latte. It really makes me slow down and enjoy the little moments of the holiday season.

i'm loving christmas music. i listen to it non-stop in december - it sets the best mood!
I am currently loving my cozy, organized "public" rooms at home. (open living/dining/kitchen area, office nook and bathroom). Because I spent a long afternoon before a friend's arrival (for a week-long stay!) organizing those rooms and a closet, everything has a place which makes picking up and putting things away simple at night. Didn't know being this organized would make life so much easier. (basic, I know)

Currently I am loving the sounds of Trans-Siberian Orchestra! Ahh...tis the season for beautiful music. :) We saw them in concert last year right after Christmas and they were just amazing!

I am loving the fact that I have just finished my last Fall semester at Wellesley College! The sun is so bright this morning and I can see the dark blue of the lake outside my window. Even though I still have 3 final papers to write, I feel at peace. The world is beautiful.

i'm loving big snowflakes slowly swirling from the sky.
I'm loving feeling my baby kick for the first time this month, and that we are giving most of our family their Christmas presents in the form of donations to Charity. They both make me feel so good.
I love snow on a day that is just crisp enough to feel the bite, but not so cold that I'm freezing.
sad I missed this...I LOVE these!! They remind me of the very first journal my grandma gave me in 8th grade.
