Happy Tuesday, everyone! How was your holiday weekend? I know that I’ve fallen far, far behind on my S.HOPtalk blog posts. Alas, other happenings in my life have had to take priority over my blog lately. I did want to let you all know that most days, I post updates on instagram and pinterest even if I’m not able to post here. I’d love to connect with you there as well.

I promise to try and make it back here sometime this week…I have SO many goodies bookmarked that I want to share with you all. Have a lovely week.

Happy Friday! What are you doing this weekend? Bella came up with the idea to tutor younger kids and she's been working on "lesson plans" all week. She invited a couple of little ones to come over Saturday so she can test out her teaching skills. So cute! Here are some other things making me smile...

Hi everyone! I missed you yesterday. Did you have a good weekend? I had planned to start a painting project over the weekend, but I realized I still needed to do some more organizing so it was more purging and cleaning. I'm ready for that to be done already! I did take some time to browse a few blogs and Pinterest, which is where I stumbled upon Maria's lovely home. Maria owns the appropriately named, Dreamy Whites online shop and lives with her husband and 5 children on a horse ranch in California.

 

Honestly, I haven't been able to get this home out of my mind. It's images like these that make me want to bust out the paintbrush and paint everything white. Maria makes it look easy, but she does an amazing job carefully editing the elements in her home, mixing in different textures and subtle tones to give her spaces more depth and interest. When you have a few moments, you must browse the beautiful Dreamy Whites blog and french farmhouse inspired shop--hours and hours of eye candy!

I am quite smitten with these adorable, little guys found in the Royal Mint etsy shop. Each miniature felt animal is hand-crafted by Sabina, who lives with her partner, Ryan, in a 100-year old textile factory in downtown Montreal. Sabina’s imagined stories and mesmerizing photos are crafted to reveal each character’s personality, making them truly irresistible.
