Simple. Functional. Dreamy...
I love the use of beachy, nature-inspired elements indoors...
the tree stumps were found in a nearby field and painted with
5 coats of fire engine red latex paint.
Cozy fireplace. Check.
A view to build a dream on...
I think my vintage collections of pyrex and milk glass
would look quite lovely in this cabinet, don't you?
The sink, the painted floors, the colored glass door inserts...*sigh*
Personally, I'd choose another fabric for these fabulous faux bamboo chairs,
but isn't this a great room with the wispy sea grass just outside the windows?
Love this art wall...it would be fun to fill it with vintage
paint-by-number beach scenes too.
Thank you all for letting me dream a little dream with you today.
SPECTACULAR INSPIRATION! :) Thank you dear!
ReplyDeleteLook at all those books and that pantry! Oh! If you had a cottage like this, could I come and visit? I would bring you buckets of daffodils just for you!
ReplyDeleteDaffodils...my favorite. ;) If I'm ever able to get a beach cottage like this, I will have a year long party and you will all be invited.
ReplyDeleteYippee! I'm in! Can I come too? :)
ReplyDeleteI will bring you pound cake, strawberries and cream!
I love all the painted floors, stumps and chairs. I am loving the red with the blue and the idea of relaxing in front of the fire or by the sea. Beautiful!
